Elongation / Lengthening of the
Penis
FACTS:
There are no medications that can
increase the length of the adult penis. This is only possible at
puberty and not afterwards.
The only way to obtain a long penis
is by surgery.
How does surgery elongate the
penis?
The penis is composed of two parts,
on that is the penis you see and is called the pendulous penis, and
another that is hidden in the pubic fat, attached to the bone of the
pelvis by a ligament called "the suspensory ligament", and can be
named the (reserve penis).

The reserve penis can be released
from its attachment to the pelvis and from the surrounding fat and
advanced to be seen and used, adding to the length of the pendulous
penis.
This is performed by cutting the
suspensory ligament and reducing the fat that surrounds the penis.
Te fat is reduced by liposuction or by removing part of the pubic
fat and skin if the fat is excessive and skin is redundant.

This surgery does not involve the
corpora cavernosa and is
therefore harmless as regards erection, if performed by expert
hands.
Surgery can add a length of 2-8 to the penis, depending on the size
of the reserve and the volume of fat. Those who benefit the most are
men with excessive fat around the penis. Those who benefit least are
those with no fat around the penis and with a small penile reserve
(the part of the penis attached to the bony pelvis).
The drawback of cutting the suspensory ligament is
that the angle of erection (position of the penis in relation to the
abdomen) changes and the penis points slightly downwards instead of
upwards (normally, the erect penis points forwards or upwards). Most
men find this slight change in angle of erection of no importance.
The other drawback is that cutting the suspensory
ligament creates a gap between the reserve penis and the pelvis.
This gap may swallow the penis back at intercourse and the added
length may disappear. Dr.Shaeer
designed a surgical technique that fills this gap by vascular flaps
that act as a cushion for the penis, preventing the reserve from
falling back. This technique gives the best results in penile
elongation. It has also been used in cases of accidents, amputations
and injuries of the penis where the lost part of the penis can be
substituted by the reserve using this technique:

Half-Fat Advancement Flap” Combined With Severing The Suspensory
Ligament

Surgery usually requires 1-3 hours according to the
extent of fat around the penis. The patient can resume his daily
activities the same day and does not usually stay in the hospital
except for 4 hours after surgery.
